Reliever hub

A reliever airline hub is an airline hub that serves to relieve congestion at primary hubs. Examples of reliever hubs include Cleveland Hopkins International Airport for Continental Airlines; Lambert-St. Louis International Airport for American Airlines; Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport for Delta Air Lines; and to a lesser extent Indianapolis International Airport for Northwest Airlines.
