Rejean Genois

Réjean Genois (born on 30 December 1952) is a former professional and Davis Cup tennis player from Quebec City.

The right-handed, 5'9 Genois reached a career high singles ranking of World No. 76 in July, 1978. He had a career win-loss record of 5 and 20 in Grand Prix and Grand Slam events. His best result was reaching the third round of the 1978 U.S. Open where he defeated Sandy Mayer in the first round. He also had a win over Robin Drysdale in the first round of the Canadian Open earlier that same summer.

Genois had a career Davis Cup win-loss record of 13 and 14 in 13 ties for Canada, including going 11-9 in singles. He played tennis collegiately at Florida State University.

Genois was inducted in the Tennis Canada Hall of Fame in 1999. He is current president of Tennis Québec.
