Patricia H. Reiff, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Physics and Astronomy Department of Rice University and Director of the Rice Space Institute. She has been involved in space missions since 1971, including the present Cluster mission and upcoming Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission. Her outreach software includes Space Update and Earth Update. She is co-Inventor of the Discovery Dome, a portable digital theater, and president of MTPE, Inc., which markets the Discovery Dome and its educational shows and software under the trade name E-Planetarium, with over 40 sites in 13 countries.
