Reinis Zālītis (September 19, 1943 - October 15, 2005) was a Latvian football defender, famous for playing for Daugava Rīga.

At the age of 18 Zālītis was invited to join the reserves of Daugava Rīga, however the coach only wanted him to play as goalkeeper, in a position where Zālītis didn't feel himself comfortable. For the second time he tried to enter the Daugava in 1964 and in 1966 he was already a solid main squad player and a fan favorite. Because of his big height and good playing with the head Zālītis often played in the opponents penalty area for free kicks and corner kicks. With Daugava Zālītis made more than 300 main squad appearances until 1973. In the last years with Daugava Zālītis also was an assistant coach.
