Reinhard Hütter

Reinhard Hütter or Reinhard Hutter is a formerly Lutheran, now Catholic, theologian who is currently an Associate Professor of Christian Theology at Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC.

In December of 2005, Hütter was received into the Roman Catholic Communion. Other Lutheran theologians who have become Roman Catholic include Richard John Neuhaus.

Hütter was until recently the editor of Pro Ecclesia, a journal that is published four times a year by the Center for Catholic and Evangelical Theology.
