Reiner Hollmann

Renier Hollmann (30 September 1949) is a former German football player and manager.

Before coming to Duisburg, Hollmann was in the youth section of Eintracht Duisburg. He played from 1970 to 1984 for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and Eintracht Braunschweig in 350 games in the Bundesliga and scored 33 goals.

With the German Olympic selection, he took part in the Olympics 1972 Munich.

After his playing career was Hollmann coach for years and was the assistant of Karl-Heinz Feldkamp.His greatest success as a coach was winning the Turkish Cup with Galatasaray Istanbul in the year 1994. Further coach stations were among other things the 1 FC Saarbrücken FC Carl Zeiss Jena and Al-Ahly Cairo.

For several years he has been in the United Arab Emirates.

His clubs were here Al Nasr, Al Shabab (Dubai) and Al Wahda (Abu Dhabi).

In 1977, Hollmann was at the Federal League game 1 FC Kaiserslautern against Eintracht Braunschweig, when it was near the end of the game with the score of 0:1, he crashed to the referee against his will and Hollmann woke again only in ambulances.
