Reid Carolin

(Gordon) Reid Carolin is an American film producer, director and screenwriter.

He developed the concept and story for the 2008 Paramount Pictures film, Stop-Loss, and was the cinematographer for the soldier-video sequences in the film.[1]

He has often worked with film director Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don't Cry, Stop-Loss) as a producer[2] and documentary co-director.[3]

Reid serves on the board of the Red Feather Development Group,[4] a non-profit organization that builds straw-bale homes on American Indian reservations. He directed the short film Building One House,[5] which is narrated by Robert Redford and scored by the rock band, Pearl Jam.

Reid graduated from Harvard College[6] and attended the graduate film directing program at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
