[edit] Song References

Many of Reggid's songs have had references especially to where he gets his ideas from. Reggid has had alot of inspiriaton throughout his life and his music career from his favorite songs from the big artists to his favorite TV/Movie characters.

Non album songs

The songs Tachimukau and Jiao Zhang refrenece the character Mushu from Disney's Mulan. Reggid gave his dragon character a dark edge in the techno part of both of the songs fusing with world music.

Electrostatic is a reference to a thunder dragon like the one Ryu transforms into from the game Breath of Fire.

Take Me On references Godzilla. The beginning layout is similar to the song "North Pole" by Solid Globe

Words of Christianity's song layout is almost similar to the song "Freefall" by Christopher Lawrence

Triumph

The whole CD was inspired by Above & Beyond's debut CD, Tri-State.

No Escape - has almost the same feel as Above & Beyond's World on Fire, The roar and vocal sample in it is almost a reference to Riptor from the SNES video game Killer Instinct

Darkest Night - The lyrics reference Sabrewulf from the SNES video game Killer Instinct The begining in middle breakdown are almost similar to Rabbit in the Moon's remix of the song Euphoria by Delerium.

Alone In The Dark has lyrics that reference the character Dragon from Dreamworks' movie Shrek. The middle breakdown was inspired by the song Arcadia by Gabriel & Dresden. parts of it were also inspired by Above & Beyond's Can't Sleep.

Cityscape also has lyrics that reference Godzilla. The beginning part of the song is very similar to the song "Zocalo" by Armin Van Buuren and Gabriel & Dresden.

See The Light - The song appears to be secular, but it has alot of Christian meanings. Reggid intended the song to be secular, ending his darker part of Triumph, but when he showed the song to some of his friends, they have considered it to be a Christian track. See The Light also got released on Platinum Dragon17)'s thrid solo album, "Fusion of The Elements". Above & Beyond have collaborated with Zoe Johnston after having sucess on their No One On Earth single. Reggid got inspired of that collaboration and collaborates with Platinum Dragon17) again for the third time after having success with No Match and Runaway.

Sojourn- Reggid got the Sojourn name from a youth group he attended at a church in Sayreville.

[edit] Eternal Spirit

In September 2006, Reggid decided to form a Christian project with the name Eternal Spirit. Reggid is doing all Christian music with all sorts of styles like rock, pop, rap, electonica and others with some of his electronic elements he uses in the Reggid alias. Reggid felt that he couldn't market Christian albums in Christian stores under his regular name so he made a seperate name for his music to market in Christian bookstores. He released a demo CD up for a free download at the Eternal Spirit website (www.freewebs.com/eternalspirit1).

He has 3 original tracks and remade 3 of his songs off his debut CD Triumph. he remade the Christian songs Expressions of Innocence and Morning light. He even remade the secular track See The Light. Reggid decided to turn See The Light into a Christian track since it would suit the project, but however he had to replace Platinum Dragon17 with another singer and even changed some of the lyrics to make it a Christian song. The new version features a Christian acoustic artist named Jen Miller and sung the track differently from the way the original version sounded. Reggid is planning a debut album for his project sometime in the future.

[edit] Racer Community

Besides producing music, Reggid went into the Racer community. he was known for adding reverse lights for many of the authors' cars. He criticised the authors to add reverse lights to their cars before he found a way of doing them himself.
