[edit] BUT WHAT IS IT?

The article says absolutely nothing about whan an RSP actually IS. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 139.48.81.98 (talk) 16:02, 12 March 2007 (UTC).

  • "A Registered Retirement Savings Plan or RRSP is a Canadian investment account that provides some tax benefits for saving for retirement in Canada." I hope this clears things up for you. Ground Zero | t 17:07, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

I just got my 2006 return back and it says the max is 19000 instead of 18000 24.85.15.76 22:35, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

That is the maximum contribution that can be contributed this year (2007). In 2006, the maximum was $18,000 Steggall 03:00 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Caution Section

Am I the only one who finds this section somewhat redundant? Does it not go without saying that one should not invest / complete taxes based on a Wikipedia article? I'd like to see this section deleted as it is out of place, and other similar types of wikipedia articles do not include cautions. Anyone else agree? Dross82 15:38, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What happens to RRSP at death ?

I would like to a section on what options are available when an RRSP owner dies, ie. if a beneficiary is named or not. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MiddleAgedFart (talk • contribs) 21:49, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
