[edit] IB Diploma program

The pre-International_Baccalaureate is for students in Grade 9 and 10. In Grade 11 (Year 1 IB) and 12 (Year 2 IB), the students enter the Diploma program.

[edit] History

Regiopolis College was founded in 1837 and Notre Dame was founded in 1841. The two schools united in the 1967 because enrollment costs were too high for separate schools and because of the similar beliefs. In 1985 Holy Cross was founded to solve the overcrowding problem at Regi. Regi has been in its current building since 1914 and has had two expansions, one was in 1993 and the other in 2004. The 2004 expansion added a second gym to the school, which now is the site of most Regi sporting events, school masses, and spirit rallies.

[edit] Athletics

Regi's mascot is the Panther (previously the Red Skins) and the school colours are garnet and gold. Regi hosted the 2006 OFSAA Boy's Volleyball tournament where they placed third in Ontario. Also at the 2006 OFSAA Boy's Soccer tournament, the team placed first. The Panthers also have two other OFSAA medals. Regi is also home to the four-time Co-ed Cheerleading National Champions (2001-2005).
