Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is an independent governmental agency responsible for transportation in Southern Nevada, primarily Clark County. The RTC operates the Citizens Area Transit (CAT) system, which currently includes a fixed-route bus service and a bus rapid transit system (known as Metropolitan Area Express - MAX), and the newest service added which is known as "The Deuce" servicing the Las Vegas Strip.
In addition, the RTC is also the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Southern Nevada, identifying and coordinating all public works projects in Southern Nevada with regards to streets and highways.
The current heads of the RTC are Jacob Snow, General Manager and Tina Quigley, Deputy General Manager
