The Regional Preferente de Álava is one of the lower levels of the Spanish Football League. It is held every year. It stands at the fifth level of Spanish football. All of the clubs are based on the province of Álava-Araba.

The league consists in three groups of 18 teams every. At the end of the season, the first is promoted automatically to Tercera División - Group 4. The seconds classified plays a promotion play-off depending of the vacancy seats in Tercera División.
