Reginbert of Reichenau

Reginbert of Reichenau (died 846) was abbot in Reichenau, where he acted as librarian, scholar, and writer. He made major contributions building up the important book collection of the monastery. Among his manuscripts is the "Library of Symbols", which was witten around 820.
