Reggie Watts (Reginald Lucien Frank Roger Watts[1]) is a multidisciplinary comedic performer. He claims to be the only American with a 10 octave vocal range[2], feat which would actually be a world record, if true. He was born c.1972 in Germany to a French mother and a African American father [3] and raised in Great Falls, Montana. He attended Chief Joseph elementary school and graduated from Great Falls High School. Watts moved to Seattle at age 18 where he briefly attended the Art Institute of Seattle before eventually studying jazz at Cornish College of the Arts[1].

Watts made his name playing and singing in various bands in the Seattle music scene through the 90's to now, but has now shifted to music comedy since 2004. His comedic experience includes the New York/L.A. alternative comedy scenes, SXSW, projects with The Yes Men[4], the Montreal Comedy Festival, Cape Town and Edinburgh Comedy Festivals, TBA Festival in Portland, The Fuse Box Festival in Austin, Bonaroo, Sasquatch Festival, SXSW plus several BBC live radio events. He lives in Brooklyn presently.[5].

He is winner of the 2005 Malcolm Hardee "Oy Oy" Award and the 2006 Andy Kaufman Comedy Award. In 2006 he was also a recipient of the Seattle Mayor's Arts Award[6].

Author Alice Walker is Watt's second cousin[1]. Reggie speaks fluent French.
