Reginald Horace "Reggie" Bannister[1] (born September 29, 1945) is an American actor, musician, and director most known for his role as Reggie, a balding ex-ice cream man, in director Don Coscarelli's Phantasm series. He currently resides in Crestline California where he lives with his wife Gigi "Fast Elk" Porter. He is still active in film-making and music.

Bannister is known for his four way shotgun (also known as a "streetsweeper", because of the wide dispersal pattern of shot) weapon used in the Phantasm series in which he starred alongside A. Michael Baldwin and Angus Scrimm. He also composed some of the music for the Phantasm series, for example the song "Have You Seen it" used in Phantasm IV. Bannister has appeared with Jim O'Rear in Wolfsbayne and It Came From Trafalgar.
