Reggaeton Niños

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Reggaeton Niños are a series of CDs for children made up of popular reggaeton songs. There are currently two CDs - Reggaeton Niños volume 1 & Reggaeton Niños volume 2 (14 March 2007).

[edit] Complaints

Many people have complained that Reggaeton Niños is inappropriate for children, [1] because most of the songs include sex, drugs, and violence. Although the CDs are "cleaned up" the editing still does not make it age appropriate because the songs are still talking about sex even if the actual word sex is not said. For example the song "Gasolina" has very sexual lyrics, but can be interpreted differently. Also the suggestive music videos, poor role models, and foul language of reggaeton music, and the music reputation in general make it inappropriate to turn into a kids CD.
