Reg Gutteridge (b. 1924) is a retired British journalist, who spent most of his career covering boxing.
After losing a leg in World War II, Gutteridge turned to journalism and wrote for The Evening News. While writing for this paper, he was approached by ITV Sport to work as a freelance commentator on boxing matches. When ITV stopped covering boxing in 1995, Gutteridge and long-time commentary partner Jim Watt moved to Sky Sports. While his major work has been done on ITV, and later Sky, he has also commentated for BBC, Channel Five and TalkSport.
He was awarded an OBE in 1995. He is also an inductee of the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame.
