[edit] An old movie

I'm trying to remember the title of a fantasy movie (perhaps old) where the antagonist is an old (here comes the) judge in an elaborate junkyard scenario who enjoys confounding any who trespass into his area of authority by sentencing them to various unpleasantness' (including trap-doors and a fantasy roller-coaster). The protagonists innocently happen into the scene by some trumped-up traffic violation and then the game is afoot! Anyone remember that one? --hydnjo talk 01:29, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

I hope you don't consider 1991 "old", if so, I need to look into retirement homes... The film of which you type is Nothing but Trouble starring Demi Moore, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, and John Candy. Dismas|(talk) 06:48, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Yep, that's it - it perhaps seemed longer ago than that because I was trying to forget having seen it! --hydnjo talk 15:45, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Japanese song, possibly called 'Daisuki'

When I lived in Japan there was a song I quite liked on the music video channels that I never got around to buying. I recently tried to download it but it's not by the artist who I thought made it, so I'm at a loss. If anyone can help, I'd be very grateful (and somewhat surprised).

I'm convinced that the song is called 'Daisuki' (大好き) or possibly 'Daisuki Da Yo' (大好きだよ) but I downloaded the song of the same name by Otsuka Ai, and it's totally different. The one I remember would have been released between 2004 and 2006 (or perhaps a little earlier, but not much). It is sung by a fairly young female singer, and the video features the singer sitting at a restaurant table opposite a man; they're both eating but she's singing to him as they do so. The main thing I remember about the song itself was the chorus featured her singing the phrase 'Daisuki da yo' with the first word drawn out quite a bit (as in, "Daiiiiiiiiiiiiiisukiiiiiiiiiiii da yo", if that helps).

Sorry for the lack of information! If there's anyone out there who knows anything, I'd be most grateful. Phileas (talk) 14:45, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure this is the one you are looking for, but there's a song 'Daisukidayo, into your heart'/'大好きだよ(Into Your Heart)' by Naomi Tanisaki/谷咲ナオミ, released in Nov. 2004. See the image. Is this the singer? Sorry not her version, but click 再生 and listen to the melody. Oda Mari (talk) 18:50, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, the picture could be the one but the sample melodies don't ring any bells. I'll do some more digging into this singer, and see what I can find. Thanks for the help! Phileas (talk) 21:42, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
There's a song from Ryoko Hirosue called "Daisuki!" Judging from your comments about the date and the chorus, I don't think that's it. But nevertheless, I think you can now ignore any search hits about Ryoko Hirosue's song. --Kjoonlee 17:42, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
I know both of them are not the song. But this is Hirosue version and this is Tanisaki version. Oda Mari (talk) 14:58, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mortal Kombat

What does say Raiden when he does his torpedo move? David Pro (talk) 23:05, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

According to the article:
He became notorious for yelling randomly while performing his Torpedo move
