[edit] February 8
[edit] Card trick?
My friend did this really incredible majic trick the other day, he shuffled a deck of cards than spread them over the table face down. Then he told me to pick what i think is a two then he told me to pick what I thought was a 5 . Then he said that he'll pick what he thinks is a king. When he flipped the cards the cards were a 5,2 and king. HOW DID HE DO THAT!!!! (99.226.110.16 (talk) 02:07, 8 February 2008 (UTC))
- There are several ways of performing such a trick. He might have been using sleight of hand or a trick deck, but probably it was magic.--Shantavira|feed me 10:03, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- One way that I can think of requires knowledge of what all the cards are, so would require a false shuffle that doesn't affect the order of the cards (tricky, but doable with practice). Then, when he told you to pick a 2, you actually picked a 5. When he asked you to pick a 5, you picked a king. Finally, when he said he was picking a king he picked a 2, and brought the three cards together so you didn't realise that they were being shown to you in a different order to how they were picked. - Ctrl+x should do it.--ChesterMarcol (talk) 02:54, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- It's Ctrl+X. Schyler appears to have fallen for the Alt+F4 scam. --M@rēino 19:02, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

- Why do you need the cheat box? I have Sim City 4(the real name is Sim cities Societies), and I can help you with it. Plus, the instruction manual is SOhelpful, it's weird.--Princess Janay (talk) 15:41, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Extra "stuff" in headers - RD:E
The Entertainment page has the following between the instructions box and the contents listing:
Music
James is a singer/actor,songwriter... (and much more)
Yes, I want it gone, but even more I want to know where the source is, 'cause I can't find it! -SandyJax (talk) 20:48, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- (Sorry; this should have gone on the discuss page) -SandyJax (talk) 20:49, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- The top thing on this page (after the header) is the last view days of archives, transcluded. In this case Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Archives/Entertainment/2008 February 2 had been changed. Algebraist 21:08, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Video game name
What's the name of that late eighties video game where the main character is a little blond boy that looks like Tarzan? he gets to throw an axe and ride a skateboard. Thanks in advance.--Yamanbaiia(free hugs!) 23:55, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- Do you by any chance recall the system the game was on? NES, Atari? Wisdom89 (talk) 03:41, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Wonder Boy --Bavi H (talk) 04:53, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- The only game I can think of that has a little boy that looks like Tarzan is Bonk's Adventure, but he's bald. 64.236.121.129 (talk) 17:07, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
