[edit] November 29
[edit] Xmas song
I'm looking for a particular version of "Christmas is A-Comin'". It's not the Bing Crosby version as it contains this verse which his version lacks:
"Pleased to let an old man sit around the fire, to warm his bones for a while by the old Yule log, If you'd rather I didn't sit around, to stand around will do, If you'd rather I didn't stand around, may GOD BLESS YOU !"
(The first two lines I guessed at, but the last two are nearly exact.) I'd like to both identify the artist/album and find where I can download it, if available. StuRat (talk) 17:08, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- On iTunes music store there are...Harry Belafonte, John Denver & The Muppets, Kidzone, Royal Choral Society, Laura Greenwald and Friends, Adrian Bal and many more. I'm not sure if they're all the same song but they're all called that. ny156uk (talk) 19:22, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- Ah yes I guess the 30 second samples might not prove which is the right one...Well you could buy them (though you'd end up with about 10 copies of essentially the same song which would be weird). I guess try You-tube, or look on songmeanings.net that's a good lyrics site and might have be to them. ny156uk (talk) 00:25, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

- Do you have to subscribe to iTunes to hear the previews ? StuRat 16:57, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
