[edit] Underage gambling in AC

Are there any casinos in Atlantic City that allow 18 year old gambling? If not, where/what would be the optimal way to play? Where wouldn't card? I know, I know, shady/grey/wrong/but-lets-face-reality. Thanks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.190.117.30 (talk) 04:59, 28 December 2006 (UTC).

  • Here's the reality: Gambling is a scam for people who don't understand math. If you are willing to risk 6 months in jail and/or a $1000 fine, maybe you have a problem? There's help. --Infrangible 04:33, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Professional poker players understand math just fine, e.g. Barry Greenstein. Clarityfiend 04:44, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Yes, some of us realize that the casino advantage is mitigated and overcome by horrible players, game theory, and advanced stochastic reasoning. I'm not asking for help, I'm asking for information on my question. Please abstain from irrelevant advice. Thanks. 172.194.134.69 20:34, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

If you're really keen on spending lots on money you can take a holiday to Australia where gambling is legal for 18 year olds, including in the casinos. --jjron 05:40, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Was there ever any music video for "Bounce" by Soul Kid?

The California song, we got more bounce in california? Also, did Soul Kid ever make any other songs? I can't find any good ones... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.190.117.30 (talk) 05:01, 28 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Barry Gordy <Mowtown>Recording Studio in Southern NJ

Barry Gordy of Mowtown house a recording studio in southern New Jersey? And if so where exactly and what was the name of it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Daysuview (talk • contribs) 14:16, 28 December 2006 (UTC).

The biographical links and Motown pages I searched through had no information confirming this. During his active career, he worked mainly in the Detroit area, later also in Los Angeles, and after selling Motown Records to MCA and Boston Ventures in 1988 (later sold on to Polygram), he doesn't seem to have founded or bought any new studios or recording companies. For further research, his name is spelled Berry Gordy. ---Sluzzelin 01:23, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Guitar Hero Controllers - Compatibility

I'm wondering if the Guitar Hero 2 controller for the PS2 is completely backwards compatible with Guitar Hero 1. Also, does the Guitar Hero 1 controller work fine in Guitar Hero 2?

This is why I ask. I'm all confused.[1]

-167.1.120.20 20:16, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Yes, the standard controller is identical for both games -- you can use either one. The only difference between them is the colour of the paint. Pesapluvo 03:45, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

My understanding is that some (all?) third-party (Read: unofficial) Guitar Hero controllers have been locked out of Guitar Hero 2. So some guitars that worked with the original game do not work with the second, but if you have the authentic GH controller, you shouldn't have any problems. --Measure 21:47, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
