[edit] Saint Seiya wiki

Hi, I am a member of the saintseiyafan.com forum too, so if i can help in any way with the Saint Seiya wiki, just let me know, I'd be glad to.

Regards.

[edit] Hi

Hello, yeah, it is okay if you use the bios I wrote in that site, I used to visit it often sometime ago...Sorry I took some time to reply...didnt notice I had the message, hehe... Just please tell me the URL of the thread or section of the site where you will use the bios, just to know. Take care. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Onikiri (talkcontribs) 04:31, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Template

Hi. Okay, editing the category is better, so I added the missing characters. I think its better all the characters are available, the articles are complete enough. Thanks for telling me how to edit the category. Take care. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Onikiri (talkcontribs) 23:06, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

I dont know exactly what you mean, but i think its because of the link box I have added to character pages. I dont know why the Saint Seiya character category is missing a lot of the characters, thats why I decided to add the link box. I dont know how to edit the category, if I did, i would have done so instead of adding the box. Lots of characters were removed, and I dont think there's a good reason for that, since they had complete articles. They were listed in the category before until they were removed. I think the link box will be useful until someone includes all the missing characters in the category again.

Take care. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Onikiri (talkcontribs) 18:51, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Again Asterion

Hi, well, yeah, you're right, never got my hands on that image, so i thank you. It seems Kurumada didnt forget this time to cover a plothole, so Asterion's tomb is indeed in that pic he drew.

Thanks again. By the way, I have added images for all the Silver Saints that were missing their own. I will add pics for all the other characters that need one.

Take care. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Onikiri (talkcontribs) 16:58, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] About Asterion

Hi, i removed the part of the text in his info in which it says that his tomb appears in the Hades arc. That is not true. It does not appear in the manga, nor in the anime. Asterion's fate is unknown.

There are only two times that Saint tombs appear in the manga, one is in the Poseidon arc, vol.14, showing the dead Gold Saints tombs, and the other is in vol.19 in the Hades arc, showing Silver Saint tombs, and Asterion isnt there.

I left the manga page of the Silver Saints for you, so you can make sure here:

[edit] Tenma

Hmmm, I didnt notice what you asked, sorry...Care to ask again?

Oh yes, i remember now that line. Well, that would imply that Kurumada changed his mind, but it would also seem as a contradiction to Lost Canvas, in which the Pegasus Saint that hurt Hades wasnt Tenma, but the one from the age of myth, according to Virgo Asmita.

Since ND is made by Kurumada, i think it will end up as canonical, so we will have to accept that Tenma was the one who hurt Hades, which in my opinion, destroys a part that i liked very much in Kurumada's work —Preceding unsigned comment added by Onikiri (talkcontribs) 19:37, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Specter

Its okay, just add the info. I created the pages for the 3 missing Specters, Iwan, Rock and Stand. So theyre complete now...Im just having some trouble to add the images, but i will try to figure it out.

[edit] Specter

Well, no offense, but Kurumada didnt based his characters in those chinese stories, but if you wanna add it again okay.

About Divine, translating the kanji as Heaven or Celestial in this case is too literal, and it shouldnt be used like that. Divine is other of the meanings of the kanji and its more fitting than celestial. A lot of people tries to translate it as Celestial in the case of the Specters and that causes a lot of confusions and funny translations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Onikiri (talkcontribs) 17:35, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] About Tenma

Well, it seems you missed it, but Kurumada hasnt changed that. Tenma is not the same Pegasus Saint that hurt Hades. The one who hurt Hades was the Saint of the mythical age, Tenma lived in the 18th century. In Lost Canvas, Virgo Asmita shows Tenma the moment in which his reincarnation of the age of myth hurts Hades.

Though Lost Canvas is not made by Kurumada, he does supervise it.

Tenma appears battling Hades in ND, true, but that is something Kurumada has yet to reveal. Tenma and the Pegasus Saint of the age of myth are not the same.

[edit] TenKaiHen

Of course I will, I will try to find the file, but rest assured, the info is completely true. Kurumada's original plan was to start the Zeus arc with a short introductory manga, then the TenkaiHen movie, and the arc would have continued with OVAs, if Toei hadnt been so disrespectful to his work. Mow, all we have left to do, is to wait for him to start writing and drawing the Zeus arc manga, the way it was supposed to be.

[edit] TenKaiHen

Hi. Hmmm, I dont know if it's is here where I should answer to your question, this wikipedia message thingy is a bit clunky. About your question, Masami Kurumada stated so in his site in some time after the movie premiered. The statement was there for a long time and though i think the link was removed, the file is still there...I reached it some time ago through a direct link but I no longer have it. In it, he said that Toei Animation didn't respect important parts of his script, so the TenKaiHen project wouldnt continue the way he wanted it to.

I am a long time manga/anime fan and semi-pro mangaka, for over 20 years, so I am well informed about all things related to it, trust me.

[edit] Saint Seiya

Yes you are right, but there is still a lot to do...Tragic Taco will also be able to help us, he has already done great things on some character articles (like the 5 Bronze)...

  • Hi there, are you doing some of the editing on the Saint Seiya Character pages? I have added some already but there are just alot of characters to be covered, maybe we can create a project group?! What do you think? Interested? I've asked few others, perphapes creating a project group would help unless there's already one.Yajaec 19:23, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Saint Seiya, a sci-fi?

You appear to be a fan of the series. Yesterday, I categorized Saint Seiya in the sci-fi anime / manga subject but I'm unsure about this, as they are for the most part based on astrological signs and other related matters. I did this change also because of a google search saying so, though the search may have been inaccurate. After this is settled, think you can answer the question posted at Talk:Saint Seiya by I'm anonymous (aka my former username) Thanks. Lord Sesshomaru 16:55, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

I did a few edits at Frog Zelos for you {^_^} Let's get down to business: everyone has superstrength I'm assuming? Who actually has the power of flight and who can actually move at superhuman speeds? Been a long time since I've last watched the show and hardly remember anything out of it. So it is sci-fi? Lord Sesshomaru 17:15, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
I think people are able to watch the show on YouTube or Videosear.ch, did you see it online? Lord Sesshomaru 17:37, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Too much characters

Hello Im Tintor2. As you know the article of Saint Seiya characters is turning ridiculous big. We are giving articles to characters that appeared a few times and didnt do anything. The plot section of some characters is pretty detailed. There is no source in some article like Pegasus Seiya I asked an editor to give advices and as you expect he told the same things I have mentioned. Please if you can help me to ask for merge. See you. Tintor2 15:16, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Edits made

Well information about the weight, height and blood type are considered fancruft since it is not relevant to the plot. If they have something strange that would be explained in the section without using *. I think that merging movie characters to the movie article is the best option we can do because they are exclusive.

There is one thing I would like to ask you: Do you know books about Saint Seiya that contain information about the creation of the characters? I have been working in Pegasus Seiya the article needs sources more reliables to the creation section (and if you can tell where I can download would be appreciated^^). Well, see you.Tintor2 15:16, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

It would be better getting the original sources, but other websites are also ok.Tintor2 16:29, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

I have never worked in a movie article but it would be goof if you use a more reliable source instead of your galllery. I ll pay a look later. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 13:03, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

The problem is this. Never link to fansites or others like youtube or hotmail.Tintor2 (talk) 01:59, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

However, the break that.Tintor2 (talk) 14:40, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

It would be good if you can find a more reliable source.Tintor2 (talk) 15:03, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

So add as a source the magazine. Use Template:Cite book to reference it.--Tintor2 (talk) 15:35, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
