[edit] Where'd he get that stupid username from?
Yes, well, I once had a website called Refsworld, all about refereeing (sad, I know), but I let it go as it never really took off. However, the (non-promotional, honest!) handle I had used for various odds and ends of forums, guestbooks, etc. just stuck.
[edit] Wikipedia editing
Some editing of Wikipedia that I did before I created an account appeared to be construed by someone in authority as "vandalizing". Nothing could be further from the truth; however, it resulted in what I took to be a six month block on my IP, preventing me from editing Wiki or indeed creating an account!
Despite this, I am happy to say that, as 2007 arrived, so did a reprieve. I suddenly found that the block had been lifted, and so I formalised my editorship by joining properly, and hope to make useful contributions for a long time to come.
Incidentally, Interiot's Tool, a.k.a. Wannabe Kate, says I've made this many edits...
[edit] Milestones
- 1000 edits (Edit)
- 5000 edits (Edit)
[edit] Refereeing
Some editors seem to think I'm Lee Mason or Lee Probert. Of course not. Firstly, I'm no longer refereeing; secondly, I did not referee at that level; thirdly, I'm not likely to create an article about myself, am I?
For the record, I officiated in:
- Trowbridge & District Football League
- Wiltshire Football League
- Chippenham & District Sunday Football League
- Devizes & District Sunday Football League (now defunct)
- Mid-Wilts Youth & Minor Football League

[edit] Wikipedians I disagree with
- Defeatists - "Oh, there's no way this mess of an article can be sorted out and Wikified";
- Deletists - "In fact the article is so much of a mess, I'll just send it to AfD, I give up";
- Depletists - "The damn article survived AfD! Perhaps if I chip away at minor unsourced, or what I think are irrelevant, entries edit by edit, it will look bad enough to be sent there again".
- They don't exist? I disagree with you.
