Template talk:Refstart

[edit] Replace Refstart with code currently in Sourcesstart
I see this template is not actually being used and is only linked to from two pages, both user talk pages. I was wondering if anyone would mind if I change the template to the one here. The reason is because I am trying to make the above template mimic Reflist so everything is more simple. I will check back here soon and see if anyone disagrees with the move. --Anthony5429 00:27, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I strongly disagree. I had a look at the Sourcesstart template you mention. It's far too difficult for new editors to deal with. Refstart is a simple, basic guide to get people going. It works very well to do that, and is on quite a number of user pages. The reason it's not linked from user pages is because its usage is with subst: so there's no further pull on the servers. It's still being field-tested and developed, which is why I haven't given it wider publicity as yet. Tyrenius 00:33, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
