deleted the line "The strong intermolecular forces are a result of metal bonds. In metal bonds, electrons in the metal atom's outermost shell become de-localized, forming a pool of free electrons and ionized atoms. This is also why metals are good conductors" because this has nothing to do with refraction. Geoffrey.landis 13:25, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Merge to refractory
I don't see how this stub can be substantially expanded beyond what is (or should be) in the refractory article. Unless someone can point out what I'm missing, I propose a merger and redirect. Rossami (talk) 16:44, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
