The Reform Party of Syria, or RPS, is a pro-Israeli political party founded and based in the United States.[1] The party's leader, Farid Ghadry, is pro-Israel[2] and is described by Alan Weisman as "the next Ahmad Chalabi".[3] Notable supporters include Richard Perle, David Wurmser and Elizabeth Cheney.[3]
The RPS supported the candidacy of Nicolas Sarkozy in France's 2007 presidential election.[4]
