Referendums in the Republic of China

Since the Referendum Act (anticipated by the Three Principles of the People and Article 17 of the Constitution of 1947) was enacted by the Legislative Yuan in 2003, there have been six referendums in the Republic of China (Taiwan):

• Republic of China referendum, 2004
• Republic of China transitional justice referendum, 2008 (January)
• Republic of China United Nations membership referendum, 2008 (March)
