Refah School (Tehran, Iran)

Refah School is an elementary school for girls in southern Tehran, Iran with historical significance in the Iranian revolution. It was established in 1968.[1]

It is located next to the Majlis building and the Sepahsalar Mosque.[1]

[edit] Iranian revolution

The school was Ayatollah Khomeini's headquarters and residence for the revolution.[1] It was also used as a prison, court and place of execution during the revolution.[2]
