[edit] Italian WWI Vet
Could you include a reference to the death of that veteran? They'll revert if without a reference. Czolgolz (talk) 21:17, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- The World's Oldest People forum is not considered a reliable source. Please wait until a proper obituary surfaces as, per Wikipedia's policies on the biographies of living people, death dates cannot be added without a reliable source. I will revert your changes until a proper obituary can be found. As someone once said wisely, "Wikipedia has little to gain from being the fastest and much from being the most accurate." - Canadian Paul; You may state that the World's Oldest People site is not considered a reliable source, but I disagree. Furthermore, who decides on how reliable it is anyway?
I deem it to be just as reliable as this site, particulary as it was only there that a mention of Mr. Carmelo Bertolami's passing was first stated. Why did no one on this site report it so to speak, as it occurred some 5 weeks ago? As for the date, it still puzzles me why it went unreported that long at all. The time lapse makes the chances slim of an obituary, unless one can be located in newspaper archives, as a example. At any rate, it appears to be a fact as it stays on here.
