[edit] Oni Press
Hi, I was wondering why you flagged Oni Press as sounding like a avertisement without either a comment or a reasoning. Post a comment on Talk:Oni Press first before deciding on such an action. --Cpryd001 06:00, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Chiaki
hey, could you go ahead and comment on Talk:Chiaki Kuriyama about what, in your opinion, is POV'ish about it? - Nat Krause(Talk!) 22:57, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mujeres Libres
hi, i'm wondering why you flagged the article on the Mujeres Libres for NPOV - i'd like to fix it. could you comment on Talk:Mujeres Libres?
[edit] 15 minutes of fame
You added a wikify template to that article. What specifically needs to be fixed? -- I@n ≡ talk 04:07, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ayn Rand
There is no dispute on the talk page about whether there are reliable sources showing that notable people have called Rand a cult leader, so why do you remove the category? There are a few die-hard Randists who keep edit-warring by removing that category, but I can't see why you'd want to join them in violating policy. Al 21:07, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- In light of this, I have since re-added the category. Redeagle688 21:15, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. I'm glad we were able to resolve this without even the hint of edit-warring. Al 21:21, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fan Fiction nominated for an Article Improvement Drive
I figured you'd want to know that the fan fiction article has been nominated for an Article Improvement Drive. :) Runa27 23:15, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. Redeagle688 00:51, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Updating Cleanup Tag"
Could you possibly explain what you're doing in edits like these: [1] [2] [3]?
Cleanup tags indicate the month the tag was originally applied. It's not correct to update the tag to the current month, unless the tag was applied in error. Of course, if you feel that the article is now cleaned up, you are more than welcome to remove the tag.
Thanks for your efforts. Regards, alphaChimp laudare 00:46, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was unclear on the policy. Redeagle688 00:48, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
-
- It's not really a policy, more something that people know. The real issue is that we try to fix articles that have been marked for cleanup for some time. You can find a complete listing of month-specific articles for cleanup in Category:Cleanup by month. But, now you know...so no worries =). alphaChimp laudare 00:50, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Republic of Heaven
Hi! I noticed that you were the one to add the wikify tag to The Republic of Heaven. Can you please take a look at that article and see if there needs to be additional work? If so, what needs to be done? Thank you, and happy editing! —AySz88\^-^ 22:39, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
- My main complaint about that article in its current form is that it consists mostly of lengthy quotes from another source. Redeagle688 00:08, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Oh My Goddess!
I'd encourage you contribute to realted articles. :) --Cat out 02:55, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] EMU
I am curious why you removed the mission statement from Eastern Mennonite University. I agree this page needs some help, but I was thinking more along the lines of expansion. Dmtroyer 13:05, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
- It appeared to have been cut-and-pasted verbatim from another source, and any rate I don't think including a "Mission Statment" in an article is quite in line with Wikipedia policies. Redeagle688
[edit] Celtic Wicca
You flagged the Celtic Wicca stub for POV issues, but did not explain or state your specific concerns. Please explain on the talk page. --Kathryn NicDhàna 21:01, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
- I have since added an explanation to the talk page. 23:06, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Radio Blagon
Hi, I saw you participated in pages related to radio. I just wanted a little bit of help to correct an article I've tried to translate from French. It's about a French independent Internet radio called Radio Blagon. My english is not perfect, so I make a lot of little mistakes. If you have a bit of time to have a look at the grammar, the spelling and the general style of this article, that would be great. Thanks, Ajor 18:50, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'll see what I can do when I find the time. Redeagle688 21:41, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Film Ventures International
Just wanted to let you know I removed the copyvio tag from this article. about.com is a listed Wikipedia mirror [4]. It doesn't seem to be a fully up-to-date mirror, it seems to mirror from somewhere around August 2006 or before. I had to go back to August 11 to find the corresponding spelling mistake ("bor") in the first sentence of this article [5], which is mirrored here [6]. Regards. One Night In Hackney 02:05, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for clearing that up.
[edit] fact tag to Brian O'Halloran
I noticed you added a fact tag to the part about O'Halloran being in the audience of a game show. It seems to me that the statement is self-verifiable. All one would need to do is get his or her hands on a copy of the episode from that airdate. Just my two cents. Your thoughts? Robert K S 01:57, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- I checked News Askew's archives from around that date, and saw no mention of this. The main problem is that I don't see any way to confirm if that person was actually O'Halloran, or just someone of similar appearance. Redeagle688 02:25, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Red Planet (novel)
I don't understand what you're proposing with that {{split}} tag that you added to Red Planet (novel). The disambiguation page is at Red Planet. Could you go to Talk:Red Planet (novel) and explain your reason for adding that tag to Red Planet (novel)? -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 02:00, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Story of O
Please specify on Talk:Story of O what specific cleanup the article needs before adding a cleanup template to the article. Thank you. AnonMoos 04:11, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Transformers animated movie
19:40, 21 January 2007: You marked the Synopsis section with a "review" tag.... um... why? Be specific regarding which phrases or details you believe are unjustified, since I detect no bias or extraneous elements in the wording myself and find your label perplexing -- in fact, the only item I can think of removing without sacrificing plot points would be the opening elipsis dots, and perhaps placing the crew list in parentheses: "(Ironhide, Prowl, Brawn, and Ratchet),". Also, please indicate whether you are familiar with the property or if you were just passing through (which might account for your curious opinion). ~ 172.151.216.37 05:12, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bumperactive as Advertising
Hi Redeagle688 -- you flagged the Bumperactive entry as "advertising", w/o further explanation. I believe the company meets the standard for notability as a subject of two newspaper articles, and the article basically just talks about what the company does. What do you feel needs to be added/deleted/changed? Thanks, User:MCChaney, 23 January 2007
[edit] Cleanup tag
Just thought I'd let you know that wikify-date is obsolescent, simply use wikify now. Rich Farmbrough, 23:50 5 February 2007 (GMT).
- Thanks. Redeagle688 01:07, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Summaries
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Ødipussic 09:11, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] DC Meetup notice
Greetings. There is going to be a Washington DC Wikipedia meetup on next Saturday, July 21st at 5pm in DC. Since you are listed in Category:Wikipedians_in_Virginia, I thought I'd invite you to come. I'm sorry about the short notice for the meeting. Hopefully we'll do somewhat better in that regard next time. If you can't come but want to make sure that you are informed of future meetings be sure to list yourself under "but let me know about future events", and if you don't want to get any future direct notices \(like this one\), you can list yourself under "I'm not interested in attending any others either" on the DC meetup page.--Gmaxwell 22:08, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
