The definition of "rapparee" used here is not the one used in the section rapparee. There is a link to raparee (disambiguation on that page, though. I'm not really sure what to do with this, but I thought I ought to say something.

I don't see any inconsistency. Rapparees were Irish bandits or guerrilla fighters in the 17th and 18th centuries.
