Talk:Redcliffe Dolphins
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
How on earth can this be considered to be an 'Australia' related article? Should articles relating to US sport all be classified as United States related articles? Because a) Rugby league is not a US Sport b) They are an Australian team. Fairly straight forward I'd have thought.GordyB Yes Im sorry that to post, since someone already answered, but that was the most stupid question I have ever read. its pretty good though think about it....(2006) Australia is top of the world in rugby league, queensland thrashed new south wales so queenslands top in Australia and broncos etc, and redcliffe won the queensland cup so basically redcliffe is hte premier little league rugby league club in the world
[edit] NRL
Has the possibility of the Redcliffe Dolphins joining the NRL ever been a real one? Or could it be in the future? This article doesn't mention anything, but the Gold Coast Titans#History says this: "While the Dolphins moniker was popular among many, the Queensland Cup's Redcliffe Dolphins saw it as a threat to any prospects of entering the NRL that they had, and as a result threatened severe legal action if the Gold Coast used the Dolphins name." --Jeff79 18:50, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Redcliffe dolphins logo.jpg
Image:Redcliffe dolphins logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:01, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
