[edit] Regarding AfD
I have removed the AfD tag for the time being. My main reason for doing this is that there has been no discussion on this page regarding the AfD by the deletion proposer. As Wikipedia is about concensus, it is my opinion that concerns regarding this article should be discussed before (or concurrently with) tagging an article for deletion is proposed. At that time, if there appears to be a decent contingent wishing to proceed with the AfD process, then it should be proposed accordingly. The Missing Link (talk) 06:22, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. I saw this and started freaking out. I didn't know what to do, but this article definitely shouldn't be deleted. Sailorknightwing (talk) 18:28, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm of the mind to agree, but Wikipolicy has changed a lot since I've been an active Wikipedian here, so they've been doing a lot of crackdown on articles. At the very least, one thing I'm fairly certain on is that this was marked for deletion inappropriately, and so I figured I'd at least make it right. As far as whether or not it should be deleted, that's up for the people to decide. :) The Missing Link (talk) 06:33, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
That was actually a proposed deletion, which is used when the person who wants to delete believes that it's an uncontroversial deletion. If they come back and still wish for the article to be deleted, the next step is a formal WP:AfD. -Malkinann (talk) 11:30, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- Shows what happens after I wander away from Wikipedia for a long time. I so forget all the steps for everything. That makes sense though. At any rate, I'm mainly curious about the results of WP:Articles_for_deletion/Applegeeks; if Applegeeks fails the notability requirements for Internet sites, then certainly this article would as well. The Missing Link (talk) 08:13, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think so. Not only are there independent reviews of Red String, but the comic is also published in print by an independent publisher (Dark Horse), the latter of which isn't true for Applegeeks. AFAICS Dark Horse does count as "both respected and independent of the creators", meaning that the third criterion for notability is in fact matched. --59cobalt (talk) 19:05, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Graphic novel list template
Would anyone mind if I had a go at converting the chapter and volume list to the {{Graphic novel list}} template? -Malkinann (talk) 11:30, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- Not at all. Go ahead. --59cobalt (talk) 15:56, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- Done. 59cobalt (talk) 18:46, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Volume 2
I added which chapters are collected in Volume 2. Sailorknightwing (talk) 23:51, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
