This school house is a historical site in newberry south carolina that is privately owned. The school is the only remaining historical marker of a small community that consisted of farming families following the after math of the civil war. Relatives of former attendies often search for the location of the school house which lost official documentation in the fire of the old Newberry County Court House. The school house is noted in the historical newberry county record of locations (see citation).
