I have expanded the artical and made the style a bit more formal. All further help welcome; I will continue to expand as I get time. TheOne00 17:49, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

The last few days have seen extensive revisions to this page by several users. It is much improved.--JStripes 22:13, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Clans should be allowed their own page as they are significant to the success of RHP and are at its core. Separate pages are better as they won't clutter this page. Gastel

[edit] forums

redhotpawn.com is a chess site, so i am puzzled as to why there is a paragraph about the forums near the top of the page. I have moved this down, if noone objects?

Could someone please explain why the forums have been given such an honourable mention on this page? It's a chess site. People who look at this page are wanting to learn about what the site offers in terms of online chess, not in terms of online forums.

I have not edited it this time, but i would like for someone to at least explain to me why this is?

You have to be there, the forums at RHP are an integral part of the community, very active, the core members there discuss a lot of things. The page is about the site as a whole, yes, the site is mainly for chess, but why should this be the only thing mentioned? I think it is worth mentioning. Bad wolf chess 16:30, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm not saying don't mention it, meerly that it is a secondary feature of the site and should not be mentioned until later in the article.

Well apparently Clans which is an important feature of this site is considered useless. Therefore why should this page even exist? I guess it is merely to catalog the minute trivia of the internet. Bravo!

[edit] Clans

In my opinion, the section entitled clans does not conform with WP:NPOV. However, I am involved with the clan system on RHP, so am asking an independent editor to check this section over, and if necessary edit it accordingly.--TheOne00 08:57, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

I agree and have removed the parts that I see as non-NPOV. --Ed (Edgar181) 11:36, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] userbox

I created a Red Hot Pawn userbox. It looks like

This user plays Red Hot Pawn as 383918.

{{User:Kingturtle/Red Hot Pawn|383918}}, where 383918 is my RHP uid. You can put this userbox on your userpage, using your own RHP uid. Kingturtle (talk) 15:07, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
