Talk:Red Dwarf ships
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article conflicts itself all over the joint. Different original names for Starbug and different explanations for reappearing Starbugs (after being destroyed) amongst others.--Santahul 10:14, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Enlightenment
If you watch Holoship the belts the crew of the Enlightenment read "SSS E" implying the ship uses the SSS prefix, similar to the Esperanto. Should the prefix be added to the section's title? --The NCC Factor 18:31, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cloak
i added that starbug is capable of cloaking as seen in eppisode backwards. is this ever used again in any other episodes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr noire (talk • contribs) 21:12, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- There are no other instances of cloaked ships in Red Drawf, though Enlightenment was extremely small until it projected its (holographic) presence. — Val42 04:30, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Tank on Red Dwarf
There is no reason at all to assume that the brig did not exist on the original Red Dwarf. In fact, there are indications that the brig did exist, such as Holly's comment that knowledge of the brig's existence was classified (why would knowledge of a non-existent brig be classified?), the fact that the inmate Nigel is on file within Holly's memory, and the way that none of the prisoners are surprised to find themselves on Red Dwarf rather than some other prison ship. So I've removed the references to the Tank possibly not existing on the original Red Dwarf. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.109.123.180 (talk) 12:20, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:RedDwarfNova5.jpg
Image:RedDwarfNova5.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
