[edit] Origin of Name
I'm told that the name Red Cow was used before the Moran Red Cow Hotel was opened, so the roundabout does not get its name from that particular hotel. Was there an earlier pub there called "The Red Cow", or is/was the area known as Red Cow and if so, why? Millbanks (talk) 23:57, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- No idea why, but there was a pub called the "Red Cow" on that site long before the hotel. (Sarah777 (talk) 00:52, 20 December 2007 (UTC))
