Redwood Village, San Diego, California

Redwood Village is a neighborhood of the Mid-City region of San Diego, California. The neighborhood was formerly known as "Darnall," but on June 7th, 2007, residents voted to change the name of the neighborhood to Redwood Village[1]. Redwood Village is a mostly residential neighborhood, with the exception of the area South of University avenue which is home to the University Square Shopping Center and the Rolando Shopping Center.

Redwood Village's borders are defined by 54th street to the West, University Avenue/Chollas Parkway to the North, 69th Street to the East, and College Avenue/Thorn st/Redwood Street to the South, hench the name Redwood Village.

Redwood Village hosts two elementary schools.
- Rolando Park Elementary School (San Diego Unified School District)
- Darnall E-Campus Charter Elementary School (San Diego Unified School District)
