[edit] History
Redner’s is a employee-owned corporation, founded in 1970 by Mary and Earl Redner. They opened two supermarkets in Reading, PA. After a steady success from the start they expended their operation to other areas.
In 1975 Redner’s formed an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), making them the first supermarket in Pennsylvania to be employee owned[2].
