This same division is also shared by each school's respective band programs in OSAA sanctioned events. Redmond High's Wind Ensemble placed 8th overall at the State Band Cotest, and 5th in the performance category. Numerous Students also were selected to participate in the State Instrumental Solo Contest at Lewis and Clark College.

Redmond High School (RHS) is proud to be a part of Jackass Nation, a student and community fan base that supports the Jackasses as well as markets and sells Redmond Jackass gear to its students.

The school also offers the International School of the Cascades as a charter school, a program based on international learning, and the IB Diploma Programme of IBO. Denise Roberts is the IB Coordinator. Currently the graduating 2008 class consists of approximately 22 students with several more students graduating for the Class of 2009 with full IB diplomas. The 2008 class was unable to receive full IB diplomas due to lack of certification during the 2006-2007 school year. Nonetheless, the students were not deterred and made the choice of taking full IB classes and taking the AP tests instead because they were not offered Higher Level credit examinations. The Diploma Program currently offers IB certificates in HL English, HL Biology, HL History, SL Chemistry, SL Math, SL Spansih, SL History, HL Art, SL Music, and SL Art. Donna Howard is the principal. The first graduating class, the Class of 2008 graduated Tuesday June 3, 2008. There were 22 students, the class included 5 students with 4.0 GPAs. Graduates will attend diverse institutions for higher education, including the Naval Academy, Gonzaga, Lewis and Clark, OSU, U of O, Pacific University and others.
