Benzino released his sophomore solo album on January 14, 2003 on Elektra Records. Redemption features Benzino’s highest charting single to date. Club smash “Rock The Party” produced by Mario Winans appeared #19 on the Billboard top 200. Redemption was also Benzino’s highest charting album to date. It debuted #65 on the Billboard top 200. Benzino’s second Single “Would You” featured actress Lisa Raye rapping for the first time. But the album is most known for its diss track “Pull Your Skirt Up” which was aimed at rapper Eminem. The Production on Redemption was by Mario Winans, L.E.S., Trackmasters, D Moel and mostly Hangmen 3. Notable guest features by Scarface, Jadakiss, Wyclef, Lil Kim, Petey Pablo, Mario Winans and Lisa Raye.
