Redbank Power Station, New South Wales

Redbank Power Station is located near Singleton, in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia. It is coal powered with one steam driven turbo generator with a capacity of 151MW of electricity.

Redbank draws its cooling water from the Hunter River.

Redbank is fuelled by beneficiated, dewatered tailings from Warkworth, New South Wales, delivered by conveyor.

In 2007 Redbank emitted more climate change and global warming causing greenhouse gases per unit of electricity generated than any other power station in Australia [1].

The power station is located at -32.58°, 151.072°
