The Red Lion Area Junior High School shootings was a school shooting that occurred on April 24, 2003, at Red Lion Area Junior High School, a middle school in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, United States. James Sheets, a 14-year-old student at the school, armed himself with 3 hand guns, 2 revolvers and one semi automatic handgun, and shot and killed a principal before turning a handgun on himself and committing suicide.

At approximately 7:34 a.m. EST, 14-year-old James Sheets entered the school cafeteria armed with three firearms: one .44 Magnum revolver , a .357 revolver, and a .22 caliber handgun. Sheets had shot and killed principal Eugene Segro with one bullet to the chest, and then subsequently shot himself in the face with a second handgun. The school was on lockdown and students were ordered to stay in the Red Lion High School auditorium.
