Red Carpet Awards

The Los Angeles Women In Theatre Red Carpet Awards is held annually in October in honor of National Arts & Humanities Month. The Red Carpet Awards honor individuals, groups, theatres, or organizations for their extensive support and involvement in the live performing arts in greater Los Angeles. The Red Carpet Awards were first held in 2004. Trish Ostroski is the producer. Women In Theatre (WIT) was established in 1978 with a mission to promote and assist the involvement of women in the theatrical arts in the greater Los Angeles area. The organization is a 501(c) 3 non-profit.

The Red Carpet Awards ceremony is held annually in October in honor of National Arts and Humanities Awareness Month.

Previous Red Carpet Awards recipients include Beverly Garland, Joan Van Ark, Dan Lauria and Carmen Zapata.
