RedOne is a Moroccan and Swedish producer, writer[1] based in Los Angeles[2]. RedOne produced the entire Kat Deluna album "9 Lives" for Epic including the smash first single "Whine Up" featuring Reggae/ Dancehall star Elephant Man. RedOne is best known for his work on the Official Single of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ “Hips Don’t Lie” performed by Colombian songstress Shakira and Grammy™-award winning Haitian superstar Wyclef Jean. Since then RedOne has been in the studio non stop and became one of the most sought after record producer in the US. Recent notable productions include New Kids On The Block, Akon, Enrique Iglesias, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Cheetah Girls, Menudo, Varsity, Robyn, Tami Chyn as well as the Billboard Latin Award winning Mexican band RBD featuring the hit single "Wanna Play".

Lady Gaga's first single "Just Dance" (featuring Colbis O'Donis and produced by RedOne) will be released Worldwide by Interscope Records in June 2008.

Pop legend Michael Jackson has hired RedOne and Akon to mastermind his new album. The trio began working together at the Palms recording studio in Las Vegas Wednesday., April 23, 2008.[3]He is also a producer, songwriter and back-up vocal singer on NKOTB's summer 2008 album and has announced that he is working with superstars Toni Braxton, Shakira and Enrique Iglesias on their upcoming albums. He is also rumored to be producing Kat Deluna's entire sophomore LP due out in summer 2008.
