The Red-ruffed Fruitcrow (Pyroderus scutatus) is a species of bird in the Cotingidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Pyroderus. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
