The Red-crested Cotinga (Ampelion rubrocristatus) is a species of bird in the Cotingidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes and heavily degraded former forest.
