Red, Hot and Blue is a 1936 musical by Cole Porter originally starring Ethel Merman, Jimmy Durante, and Bob Hope.
It was loosely adapted as a 1949 film starring Betty Hutton, Victor Mature, and June Havoc (with a re-written score by Frank Loesser).
In 1990, an album consisting of Cole Porter covers was titled Red Hot + Blue.
Redhot & Blue, a singing group at Yale, Cole Porter's alma mater, is named after this musical.
