Records for the "Americas" do not exist at the moment (March 2008): they have not been tracked. The USA national records are referred to as "American Records", which may or may not be an accurate description (there is a possibility that they all are the fastest times in the hemisphere). South American Records are tracked (hence this page), but no North American Records, as a counterpart, exist. Hooperswim (talk) 04:21, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
