[edit] Removed List

I've just removed Carlton list of 'recycled players' as it's club-centric and not definite. Why specify only one club's recruiting failures when all 16 have suffered at some stage?

[edit] Why?

I think this page is wholly irrelevant. It contains absolutely no useful information.

We'd be much better off including the definition of "recycled player" in the Australian Rules Football Slang Terms page and deleting this page. Aspirex 11:54, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Okay, I've changed my mind and completely rewritten to to make it encyclopædic, rather than just a definition. I've included a bit on Recycled Player Policies, and a specific section on the Recycled Player Policy of my club, the hapless Blues. Unlike the above section entitled Removed List, I believe that Carlton's recycled player policy is an isolated and special case that requires specific details; however, I've gone into those details properly, rather than just listing recycled players and labelling them all as failures, which would be, as said above, club-centric and not definite.
